Assassin's Creed Valhalla New Patch Resolves Many Issues

Ubisoft has uploaded a new patch update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This patch resolved many issues in the game. Even after the latest fix, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is still struggling as new technical issues are sprouting up.

[NEW] Defensive Measures / Jotuns can pass through the shield / don’t die
[NEW] Blood from a Stone / Unable to move the stack of cargo
[NEW] Unable to interact with Settlement NPCs after Report on Ledecestrescire
[NEW] Breaking the Order / Eanbhert is stuck underground
Stench of Treachery / Incorrect traitor selection
No quest objective added after pledging to Hamtunscire

Binding Fate / Player gets desynced upon entering Asgard
Reaver of the South cannot be completed / Quest objective missing / Basim doesn’t speak to the player

Raid cannot be triggered again after several raid start/end actions, preventing players from looting the ration chests

The Old Cellar mystery cannot be completed
A Little Problem / Man’s Best Friend ability not unlocked after completing the quest

General issues

[NEW] Walk speed with disguise is limited by Keyboard input
Players may fall through the map in a cave near Anlaf’s Lookout
- Potential Workaround: Fast travel away if you get stuck.
Yule items obtained through the Yule Festival are disappearing from the inventory.
- Note: If you experienced this, the game should have returned the spent resources on upgrades to your inventory. You may reclaim the items by redeeming the Godly Reward from the Animus Store. (for free)

Xbox Series / PS5

Some players are experiencing issues when using Switcher (PS5) or Quick Resume (Xbox) over extended periods of time.
- Recommendation: Be sure to save before suspending or switching away from the game to minimize the risk of losing progression when resuming play.

Ostara Festival:

The colourful raven skin is not applied when selected.
Ostara Festival quest progress seemingly resets after completing A Brewing Storm
- Note: This is only a display issue affecting The May Queen & Protection Wards.
Cannot interact with Alvis when completing the Let’s Get Festive quest before the Egg hunt
- Workaround: Play the brawl quest, and Alvin should return to the front of the hut and be interactable again.
Players may occasionally observe a FPS drop during the Ostara Brawl Tournament
“The Festival is ending soon” pops up when starting the game.
- Note: This is a display issue. You can consult the festival merchant to check the correct end date. ( April 8 )

Mari Lwyd’s costume was applied after completing the Glowecestrescire arc (in Glowecestrescire)
- Note: This is intended behavior in Glowecestrescire. The Mari Lwyd costume will be applied over the disguise when roaming the Glowecestrescire territory.
Dropping the torch during battle requires you to aim with LT and press RT to drop
- Note: This is intended behavior.
World events cannot be completed due to various actions.
- Workaround: To reset, fast travel to a different location and return later to restart. 
The world map territories do not scale to Eivor’s power level.
- Note: This is intended behavior.
“The Way of the Berserker” and “Legend of Beowulf” can be accessed after founding your settlement in England.
- Note: To start the quest , you need to go to Eivor’s room in the longhouse and open your letterbox, and read the highlighted letters.
Sons of Ragnar -The Interact button to speak to Ubba at the docks only appears at a specific angle
- Note: This is intended. Players can only interact with NPCs while facing them
[NEW] “Raid Completed” celebration may not be displayed when opening/looting the last cargo chest.
- Note: This is intended; the celebration will only appear for gear.
