Capcom’s Resident Evil Franchise Sold 105 Million Units

After the release of Monster Hunter World and Resident Evil 2 in 2019, Capcom achieved a higher position.

Today, Capcom revealed another piece of positive news about their survival horror game, Resident Evil 3. Resident Evil 3 has sold 3 million units worldwide, and Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 7 sold well, too. Monster Hunter World also sold over 16.4 million units worldwide.

Resident Evil 3 has now surpassed 3m unit sales, with the series over 105m units. RE7 and RE2 continue to perform well.

Monster Hunter World has now sold over 16.4m units with the Iceborne DLC + complete package around 6m.

Capcom revealed about their other franchises, too.

  • Resident Evil 105 million
  • Street Fighter 45 million
  • Megaman 36 million
  • Devil May Cry 22 million
  • Monster Hunter 65 million

Some more exciting games are coming soon, such as Monster Hunter Rise and Devil May Cry V: Special Edition.
