Overall, Fortnite fans appear to have plenty of reasons to play the game this summer!
Summer is finally here, and the Fortnite Cosmic Summer Event 2021 has already started. With its all-new event, Fortnite is ringing in the season. It has new outfits and a bunch of new rewards for its newbie players. There are also new and returning summertime outfits, and they will all tie in with this season’s alien theme. The Cosmic Event will run till July 5th.
Fortnite has declared new bundles and outfits as part of the celebrations. According to the company, the collection will feature beach-ready versions of famous island stars. Players can unlock a Brain Freeze Back Bling by completing quests during the event. The Cloud Llama Board Glider, which is available in several designs, can also be unlocked using the same process.
Completing 12 quests will unlock a Lil’ Treat emote. “Returning summer Outfits will be joining the party as well, like Summer Drift and Unpeely,” the company further added. Some of Fortnite’s classic islanders will be returning in new avatars.
Some online users had already seen some glimpses of these classic islanders even before the event. The two-week fiesta kicked off today at 6:30 p.m. ET and will run until 11:59 p.m. ET or 9:29 a.m. IST.
