Tactical shooter CrossFire Is one of the most played PC games in the world. Since it first launched in 2007 it has accrued over 650 million registered players. Players and fans who were waiting to jump on the bandwagon, won’t have to wait much longer. The beta for the new title Crossfire X will start next month.

According to the Microsoft store listing, the beta will be launched on June 25. The game will be released on Xbox One at some point later this year. It will be a free-to-play title. There’s no word for the PlayStation release but it’s the first to console on Xbox. Which will happen at some point. CrossfireX will have two private factions battle it out in a first-person shooter game.

Players will able to run with global risk who recruit veteran armed forces members to fight for security and order. Or they can run Black List, a band of freedom fighters who employ the world’s best mercenaries and guerilla tactics. There will be a variety of classic and innovative modes that will feature tightly crafted cinematic visuals and gameplay.

The two factions will fight to complete their objectives. It is an intense first-person shooter game where players are immersed in a sprawling global conflict among the world’s two most dangerous private military factions.

Control developer Remedy has been drafted in to help with the CrossfireX’s story campaign but SmileGate Entertainment is the main developer of the game. CrossfireX beta will be launched on 25th June and will be coming first to the console on Xbox One.
