Fall guys: Ultimate Knockout will arrive for PC and PS4 on August 4.
During the Developer Direct presentation on Saturday afternoon, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was featured. Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida also participated in the segment and helped to confirm the Fall Guys release date. Fans can hope to play Fall Guys for themselves starting August 4 on PlayStation 4 and PC.
Fall Guys is like a cartoony battle game where Royale meets American Ninja Warrior. It’s a massively multiplayer party game where sixty players will face off against each other in a series of exciting competitive matches. Where each round eliminates several players before moving on to the next. In the end, there will be only one player who rises above the rest. In the new Developer Direct broadcast, a trailer was showcased. It showcased several of the new types of matches players will experience in Fall Guys.
Much of what was shown is some team-based challenges, swinging weights though there were also some obstacle courses with moving platforms. Announced at Developer Direct, we got another look at the neon-hued 60-player minigame battler. I also got to see how wild these events were and how big their selection of in-lockable costumes would be. Fall Guys still definitely deserved its place though it wasn’t the biggest game shown during the Developer Direct.
Next to Serious Sam 4 and Shadow Warrior 3, Fall Guys still stands out as a fun and unique experience. And it seems like in less than a month, gamers will be able to get to see that for themselves. With Fall Guys’ release date rapidly approaching. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout launches on August 4 on PS4 and PC.
