A new rating for the 2003 shooter appeared today and now it’s on GOG.

Not long after it showed up on PEGI’s site, Freedom Fighters got an advanced re-discharge on GOG, where you can grab up the 2003 crew-based shooter for 34 percent off. IO Interactive hasn’t mentioned the game in years, but ratings hounds clocked its arrival and shared it on Reddit and ResetEra.

In 2003, between death plots, Hitman developer IO Interactive delivered Freedom Fighters, a crew-based shooter set in another reality where the Soviet Union finished World War 2 by nuking Berlin and afterward continued to turn the world red. Even though it was too gotten as Hitman, it never brought forth an arrangement thus far and hasn’t got an advanced re-release. T

hat may be evolving. Freedom Fighters was initially distributed by Electronic Arts, however, IO Interactive clutched the rights even after the studio was procured by Eidos Interactive, which was thusly obtained by Square Enix. In 2017, IO Interactive got autonomous and took Freedom Fighters with it. Following 17 years, however, I didn’t hope to see it once more.

IO Interactive is taking a shot at Hitman 3 right now, yet a year ago it likewise opened up a second studio that it said would enable it “to extend our muscles for making spic and span and energizing undertakings, new universes, new establishments,” so Agent 47’s dangerous experiences aren’t its solitary core interest. Political dissidents are certifiably not another establishment, yet after so long, there are unquestionably a lot of new things IO Interactive could do with it.

While the rating is for the original game, it could also be IO Interactive testing the waters for a remake or a sequel. It wouldn’t be the first time a digital re-release heralded something a bit meatier.
