Tribes of Midgard is coming to the PlayStation 5 in 2021. The Norsfell team announced that they have partnered with Gearbox to bring Tribes Of Midgard, and they are very excited to release the game. The game is about control. Players will have to control a Viking clan and build up their score to venture into the wilderness.

The game will allow solo players to play together with up to 10 players to defend their village from an enemy group and resist the oncoming invasion of demons during Ragnarok. Players will have to play as Vikings who live in a village that houses the seed of Yggdrasil, the last Basilica that protects the gods from the other realms.

In the village, there will be grim shadows of Helheim that prey upon its power. Players will have to defend the sacred city from these grim shadows and will need to explore the wilderness to make new weapons and take preparation.

In the meantime, demons will follow the holy village, aiming to destroy Midgard and complete the prophecy of the end of the universe. There will be strong crafting material for the gameplay as players will need to make structures to establish bases, get across rivers, and overcome obstacles.

PS5 plans to develop lots of exciting things, and the game is still in development. Tribes of Midgard’s console debut will launch on PS5 and PC in 2021.
