Horizon: Zero Dawn released on the PC today, and Green Man Gaming is currently offering the game at a discount after a successful stint on the PS4.

Three years after it was first released on the PlayStation 4 in August 2017, Horizon: Zero Dawn launched on PC. The appearance of Horizon: Zero Dawn on the PC will extend its fanbase, which will benefit developer Guerrilla Games once the spin-off called Horizon: Forbidden West releases soon.

For those curious about Horizon: Zero Dawn, the game is set in the 31st century, when people began living in dissipated ancestral-like gatherings with constrained access to innovation. Players play the role of Aloy, who was projected out of the Nora clan during childbirth. As a youngster, Aloy finds a Focus, a little increased gadget that gives her perceptive capacities.

Now, PC players who still haven’t purchased Horizon: Zero Dawn would be happy to know that Green Man Gaming is currently offering a discount for the game at launch. Players can buy Horizon: Zero Dawn for $44.99, which is 10% off the game’s original price of $49.99. It is worth noting that Green Man Gaming will initially display the total cost of the game on its website.

However, to take advantage of the deal, players must simply input the code AUGUST 10 upon checkout, and GMG will automatically deduct 10% from their purchase. This code will only be available until August 14, so interested players should take advantage of the deal while it is still available. In the meantime, a few players previously revealed slack issues negligible hours after Horizon: Zero Dawn was released on the PC.

This is, to some degree, expected for new games, particularly those that have been ported from an alternate stage. However, it appears now that the lag issues are just minor, given that several players have already remedied these Zero Dawn PC issues with some easy fixes. Horizon: Zero Dawn is now available for the PS4 and PC.
