Rocket Arena Is Already Free On PC If You Have Amazon Prime

EA’s 3v3 rocket shooter just released in July, and it’s already free on PC for a ton of people.

It’s been just shy of two months since Rocket Arena, EA’s brilliant 3v3 legend shooter, delivered on PS4, Xbox One, and PC to next to no exhibit. In that time length, we’ve seen the game drop from $30 to simply $5 and get a free-play end of the week on Xbox One and Steam. Presently, you would already be able to get yourself a free copy on PC if you buy into Amazon Prime.

From now until October 10, you can claim Rocket Arena’s standard edition for free via Prime Gaming (formerly known as Twitch Prime) and get a copy for Origin. To claim Rocket Arena, simply log into your Amazon Prime account at Prime Gaming.

You’ll receive a product code that can be redeemed in the Origin launcher or on Origin.com. The code expires on November 9, so be sure to redeem it before then. Rocket Arena joins the saint shooter parts of Overwatch with the ring-out technician of Super Smash Bros. also, a silly Fortnite-motivated workmanship style. Each character- – of which there are right now 11- – has its own particular capacities and rocket types, and the objective is to thump your adversaries off the guide instead of arranging harm to take them out.

The game has various modes, including the principle Knockout mode, a Rocketball mode that has two groups contend to score a “rocket ball” into the rival group’s objective, a Mega Rocket mode that is fundamental King of the Hill, and then some. With each period of the game, new saints, guides, occasions, and rewards will be included – Season 1 is at present continuous.

Now, fans are calling on EA to make it free-to-play in a bid to increase the player base – it’s doing that, some fans reckon, or Rocket Arena is dead. Perhaps it already is. Currently, Rocket Arena is free with an EA Play subscription, which costs £3.99 a month (EA Play is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC soon). Or you can buy the game for four quid.

It feels like Rocket Arena needs some serious refueling if it’s to avoid going the way of the likes of Lawbreakers or Battleborn. It’ll be interesting to see what EA does next with it.
