Rocket League announces its fourth-annual Frosty Fest, which will feature a new limited-time mode and collectibles for the 2020 holiday season.

Rocket League’s Frosty Fest 2020 is on its way and should offer a ton to keep fans involved. The current year’s occasional occasion will start tomorrow, December 14, at 9:00 a.m. PT, as per a declaration posted by Psyonix Thursday. Three restricted time modes (LTMs) will be accessible across various timeframes to observe Rocket League’s fourth Frosty Fest, starting with another mode considered Winter Breakaway which has players take to a frozen-over Throwback Stadium looking like a hockey arena.

This LTM will last from December 14 to December 21. After Winter Breakaway, the Spike Rush mode will return on Throwback Stadium beginning December 21, and afterward, a 2v2 Heatseeker mode will be accessible on other blanketed fields beginning December 28. Chilly Fest 2020 will end on January 4, and players who complete exceptional difficulties can open occasional things including a Holiday Bow Topper for one’s vehicle and another energized lights decal. Each player will likewise approach a free snowman Antenna called Mr. Floeberg in the Rocket League and look for the length of the occasion, while Psyonix guarantees there will be “extra merry things in the Item Shop” to keep an eye out for.

This will be the toward-the-end in-game occasion for 2020 and is by all accounts one that offers fans a decent measure of things to wrap up a year that has been to a great extent certain for the game, seeing Rocket League arrive at 1,000,000 simultaneous players and different awards after it turned out to be allowed to play. As a feature of its Season 2 dispatch, Psyonix declared it was at long last fixing a Rocket League split-screen bug on Nintendo Switch, giving fans another motivation to bounce on with those they might be seeing for these special seasons.

Rocket League is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
