Survival game Rust has broken its previous concurrent player count on Steam, topping out at just under 250,000 playings simultaneously.

Rust has been riding high lately, and that is directed to one more broken record for the endurance game. As per Steam Charts, Rust recently penetrated its past high of 134,483 simultaneous players with a stunning 244,394 simultaneous players. As we’ve recently mentioned, this flood in interest is expected to be largely due to the game’s expanded profile on Twitch, where it’s frequently been the most-watched game in recent weeks.

As PCGamesN notes, while just shy of 250k players may seem like a ton, it’s entirely not exactly any semblance of Steam’s other top games, including Dota 2, PUBG, and the unsurpassed hero Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. For instance, CS: GO’s unequaled pinnacle is 1.3 million, as per Steam Charts.

Still, it’s an amazing number for the endurance game to hit, particularly since its standard pinnacle was around 50 to 100k preceding this expansion in prevalence. Rust’s Twitch strength gives no indications of subsiding. As of the hour of composing, Rust is the top-streamed game on the stage, with around 450k watchers, contrasted with 322k for the following most elevated, League of Legends.

The developer behind Rust uncovered that the game made more than $1 million every day, twice a week, and that the game may be coming to support very soon
