An awful rain has nearly destroyed the Earth. In Synduality, you are tasked with finding some way to purify Earth.

The Earth has become a near-uninhabitable place thanks to poisonous rain in the year 2222. Along with the environment it destroyed, Synduality shows us the creatures that it also created. A great deal of the human population perished when the Tears of the New Moon obliterated what few environments could sustain life. For anyone to survive, humans will have to work alongside specialized AI. From Bandai Namco Europe comes a story of humanity’s uncertain future.

Step into the shoes of those known as Drifters. These specialists collect items known as AO crystals, an extremely rare and valuable resource. But collecting these crystals is easier said than done. With creatures called Enders, collecting even the smallest number will be a task and a half. But if you want to earn a living in this uncertain future, there’s no reason to let the Enders stop you.

Strengthen the bond between you and your companion AI through battles and the discovery of crystals. In addition to the help of an AI, one will be able to pilot the oddly named Cradle Coffin. These vehicles in Synduality are fully customizable, allowing players to outfit their own to fit a specific play style.

It’s also possible to call on the help of fellow Drifters. But calling upon others might be a double-edged sword. Ensure that those Drifters are truly on your side. You might have to fight with someone you once called an ally.

There is currently no definitive release date. But interested parties can follow Bandai Namco Europe on Twitter to keep up to date on Synduality.
