SNK has released a character trailer for Hibiki Takane, the latest DLC character for the Japanese fighting game Samurai Shodown.

SNK is unveiling another character trailer flaunting its most recent expansion to Samurai Shodown, Hibiki Takane. The hybrid character is set to join the long-running Japanese battling game list one week from now.

Originally from the ’90s SNK title The Last Blade 2, Hibiki Takane’s backstory includes being the little girl of a smithy who heads off on an excursion to discover Setsuna, a silver-haired man, after her dad is killed following the manufacturing of a specific sword that Setsuna mentioned.

She has since shown up as a visitor character in different titles, including the hybrid contender Capcom VS. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001. Samurai Shodown players can look at her new trailer, which exhibits moves from the “Innocent Slash.”

Hibiki Takane will join the list as the second DLC character from Samurai Shodown’s Season Pass 3, joining other hybrid characters like For Honor’s Warden and Gongsun Li from Honor of Kings.

The principal character from the current pass was Cham from Samurai Shodown 2; however, something else, players are still generally in obscurity concerning who the excess two characters are, save for one confirmed from Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear. With Cham joining a month ago and Hibiki joining one week from now, players can probably expect data regarding the leftover two warriors sooner rather than later.

Samurai Shodown is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
