‘The Last Stand’ is a community-produced update for the classic zombie shooter ‘Left 4 Dead 2.’

Left 4 Dead 2: The Last Stand, the network made an update to Valve’s multiplayer zombie shooter that has been received as official, is currently live, and to praise the defining moment Valve has made the game allowed to play for the end of the week.

The Last Stand was reported toward the finish of August by means of a short mystery displaying a natural domain from an eponymous network-made endurance map for the first Left 4 Dead. The guide was inevitably modded into Left 4 Dead 2, yet it is presently going to the game as an official update. As of late, it has been treated with one more short video, this time highlighting some powerful film with Bill Overbeck recovering a fire hatchet from a zombie’s carcass.

The latest details have emerged on the Left 4 Dead official website revealing the exact release date of The Last Stand update, which is expected to come out on Steam next week, on September 24. This new campaign, developed by the passionate Left 4 Dead community, will only be available for PC unfortunately skipping the Xbox 360 version of the game.

The Last Stand was created by roughly three dozen fans working tightly with Valve to bring a new batch of exciting content to the 11-year-old title. Not only does the update offer a whole new campaign and 20 new survival maps for players to enjoy, but it also introduces a couple of new mutations and melee weapons among other additions. All the improvements and changes are listed in the new trailer featuring lots of gameplay footage as well.

Left 4 Dead 2: The Last Stand is a phenomenal treat for the long-term fanatics of one of the most powerful zombie shooters available. While there are no indications of Left 4 Dead 3 being formally grown even though Valve is at long last back to making computer games, the first group behind the establishment from Turtle Rock is working diligently to reconsider the underlying idea by making an otherworldly replacement to the arrangement – another center zombie activity named Back 4 Blood. The game relies upon to use of the center mechanics of Left 4 Dead and hoists the experience to an unheard-of level with the assistance of current advancements.

Left 4 Dead 2: The Last Stand releases on September 24 for PC.
