The Multiplayer cooperative survival game Icarus has been announced as free to play by Developer Rocketwerkz. It’s free to play On PC via Steam. All this information was announced at an earlier PC Gaming Show. It was developed by Dean Hall and DayZ. Dean Hall was one of the first to create a complete survival game with progressive combat.

Icarus is a multiplayer cooperative game. Players must collect resources to progress permanently, navigating each other prospect’s challenges and creating advanced technologies.

The gameplay is about open-world survival where there are a lot of Imprevisible creatures that will attack players at any time and be easily provoked. In order to defend from them, players need to craft advanced technology with a crew. The game revolves around an Alien World which is enormous. Players will have to spend their time exploring and surviving.  The alien world will give players water, food, and oxygen challenges.

The game is played by humans who aim to survive and extract rich resources. The environment is seriously dangerous for humans.  It is a really fun game with resources, calculates the risks, and stretches the player’s endurance. Players have to use time wisely and be strategic otherwise they will be left behind or empty-handed. Dean Hall took ages to get DayZ to work properly. Fans hoping that this game will be much better at launch.

The free-to-play survival game will be launched in 2021 on PC.
