Sci-fi sim touches down on planet Steam on 23rd October.

It’s been a year since Obsidian’s The Outer Worlds was released on the Epic Games Store, so you know what that means. Yep, Obsidian and publisher Private Division have announced that with the one-year exclusivity being up soon, they’ll be releasing The Outer Worlds on Steam on October 23.

Initially just accessible on PC using Steam contender, Epic Games Store, players needed to sit tight for the year-long selectiveness arrangement to terminate before they could add it to their Steam libraries. The Outer Worlds dispatched first for PC through EGS, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One back in October a year ago to for the most part positive surveys.

It’s created by Obsidian, the studio may be most popular for its work on Fallout: New Vegas, and all the more as of late South Park: The Stick of Truth. As per the Steam store page posting, The Outer Worlds on Steam will highlight accomplishments, full regulator uphold, Steam exchanging cards, Steam Cloud sparing, and can be played distantly on viable TVs. Science fiction job player The Outer Worlds likewise turned out both truly and carefully on Nintendo Switch in June 2020.

The Outer Worlds puts you lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy. You awake decades later only to find yourself in a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony. As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, it’s up to you to decide how things will unfold. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.

No word on when the “Peril on Gorgon” expansion will be available on Steam, though that was released September 9th on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
