If you recall, in 2019, back in the Black Ops 4 era, WWE superstar Booker T, whose real name is Booker T. Huffman, filed a lawsuit against Activision for copyright infringement. Booker claimed that the character David’ Prophet’ Wilkes was designed after a character he portrayed at the start of his career named G.I. Bro. Unfortunately for Huffman, he lost the case.

The jury states that “Activision didn’t infringe Huffman’s copyright.” If you compare the characters and poster, you’ll see where Booker is coming from. The character looks just like him, and the poster looks just like the character Huffman portrayed early in his career.

However, Activision contested that there is “insufficient evidence” to support Booker’s claims. They also added that the poster was not copyrighted because, according to them, it was modeled after The Rock, also known as Dwayne Johnson, “from the neck down.”
