The classic little action RPG, Biomutant was first revealed way back in 2017. Now it has resurfaced with a new nearly 10-minute gameplay trailer with plenty of pretty landscapes, plenty of combat, and mutant enemies. Since its release, it has been in development with Swedish dev Experiment 101. Coronavirus ruins the plans to get this game out earlier his year. But they are now on track for a Q4 2020 release.

We still don’t have an idea of the specific date of when the Biomutant will be released. It was originally set to launch in 2018. But developer Experiment 101 tries to make up for it with the newly added gameplay trailer. Biomutant is a third-person action-adventure game where players can take control of a creature. A creature players can customize with all sorts of insane mutations. In 2017, players were weirded out and simultaneously fascinated by Biomutant.

There are three ways to buy a Biomutant. You could spend way more money than makes sense for a brand-new IP. Then you can get the Biomutant Atomic Edition which comes with an exquisite diorama of the protagonist. You can also get a giant mousepad, the official soundtrack, a t-shirt, a fabric poster, and the game itself.

It is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One for a price of USD 399.99. It might seem a bit pricy but is somewhat more reasonable. Biomutant comes in a nice box with the soundtrack and a fancy fabric art poster. Biomutant Collector’s Edition will set you back $119.99.

The last update on Biomutant from Experiment 101 was in February. It was confirmed that the game was in the complete stages of development. The studio hasn’t been able to declare a specific release date. But it is understandable given the current public health situation. Pre-orders are available right now.
