Call of Duty: Warzone has another setting for Battle Royale that may be a moment of genuine companionship. In Duos mode, you play as a two-man group to fight opponents in Verdansk, conclude agreements, and beat different crews to be the last remaining pair towards the end. You can either play with a companion or, in case you’re fond of a test, work with an arbitrary player who you think can stand their ground.

“Couples is potentially a definitive trial of companionship and cooperation,” Warzone’s declaration continues. Dissimilar to trios or quads, you’re always going to get another friend to guard your back. You can restore your partner to chance that they’re going down like in other non-solo modes, but in case you’re past the point of no return, they’re sent to the Gulag where they need to win a 1v1 fight to get back to the game.

In the unlikely possibility that they will move into you in the Gulag, given all you intend to do for them, you’ll have a chance to bring them out of the Buy Center. You can just as easily start battling paired-up players alone on the off chance that opting to be a lone wolf is a vastly enhanced choice.
