If you have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 at launch, or even if hadn’t, then surely you are painfully aware of the array of problems that occurred in the game. Issues such as weak frame rate, poor performance, game crashes, and so on made the game practically unplayable.

Within a few days later, CD Projekt Red brought out a statement promising the players that they would rectify the problems with ongoing patches. However, co-founder of CD Projekt Red Marcin Iwinski has recently issued an apology for how the launch turned out. He said “The console version of Cyberpunk 2077 did not meet the quality standard we wanted it to meet. Myself, and the entire leadership team, are deeply sorry for this, and this video is me publicly owning up to that.”

Inevitably, the game has received a huge number of complaints from gamers. Some even went on to return the game for a refund. IGN says that CD Projekt Red went further to explain that “its internal testing of Cyberpunk 2077 did not show many of the issues players experienced with the console versions” and that “each day of work saw significant improvements” to the performance.
