Square Enix has officially announced that its all-new upcoming rhythm action game Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will be released later this year. Earlier this week, the game was announced for the Nintendo Switch and other multiple platforms. It will be available on the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Nintendo Switch system. The ultimate celebration of adventure marks and music the Kingdom Hearts series first appearance on the Nintendo Switch. It will be also released outside of Japan too.
The game will feature over 20 characters and 140 musical tracks from the earlier series. There’s also an English trailer of the previously released video has been made available. Characters from the franchise including Riku, Sara, Goofy, Donald, Aladdin, Hercules, and Kairi amongst others will also be featured. Including online modes, it will have four modes.
Apart from engaging single-player content, Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory allows players to have unforgettable melodies together with online multiplayer. This creates even more of a challenge. Players will journey through iconic Disney worlds. Whilst enjoying timeless tracks from Disney’s cinematic classics and unforgettable Kingdom Hearts series music, Players will join forces with recognizable Disney characters. The game provides fans with a lifelong opportunity to relive their preferable moments like never before.
Featuring unforgettable and timeless tracks from the latest game, Square Enix will also be releasing a Kingdom Hearts III original soundtrack. Which will be made available worldwide this Fall. No one expected the first Kingdom Hearts title for Switch to be a rhythm game along the lines of big hits like Guitar Hero or Beat Saber.
