Housemarque will release a patch for Returnal today at 11 am GMT. As per the developer, this patch will fix the issue with corrupted save files.
The developer recommends players turn off PS5 auto-updates. Close by fixing the save documents issue; the fix will be applied to different stability fixes, which will address all the crashes. They also fixed an issue with pre-request suits occasionally blocking items and doors.
This patch will also address incorrect healing behavior. Housemarque will fix issues with custom controller mappings. Players can expect various minor fixes with the fix.
The past fix, 1.33, was delivered earlier this week, but it was pulled off because of the corrupt files in the saved files. The team returned the game to the past fix. 1.31, yet at the same time, proposed players quit playing the game until the corruption issue could be addressed.
