The Last of Us Part II has formally sold more than 4 million pieces as of June 21, 2020, making it the quickest-selling PS4 game ever. Senior Vice President of PlayStation Worldwide Marketing at SIE Eric Lempel wrote on PlayStation Blog to uncover the achievement, everything except affirming that The Last of Us Part 2 has outperformed Marvel’s Spider-Man as Sony’s quickest-selling elite of 2018 for the PlayStation 4 in its initial three days.
Neil Druckmann, Vice President of Naughty Dog and Director of The Last of Us Part II, likewise addressed dystopian game enthusiasts. “We are so immensely grateful to the millions of fans around the world who have played The Last of Us Part II and shared their experiences with us over the last week.
