Boy Calls Police On His Mother For Changing Xbox Password

No, this is not a joke, and you have read the title correctly. A boy genuinely called the police on his mother because she changed his Xbox password. We normally call the police because of an emergency, right? Well, this boy thought that his mother changing the password of his Xbox was a big enough emergency, as he thought there would be no other way to get around this.

The police in question were in the Halton Police Department, and obviously, they weren’t too fond of this little guy’s call. They even went on their official Twitter page and issued a warning about this to anyone thinking of reporting such a “crime,” that an Xbox password change is not a valid reason to call them. The tweet reads “We never thought we would have to say this, but here we are. Mom changing your Xbox password is NOT a reason to call 911. Yes, this happened.”.

Now there is no clarification as to why the mother had changed his password. However, if you were to make a wild guess, it’s most likely because it’s either that she wanted him to stop playing video games for a little while, as he is playing too much of it, or this is her way of punishing him for doing something bad. Regardless, the police shouldn’t be involved in this kind of matter, and they should stay focused on actual crime, wouldn’t you agree?

Never thought we'd have to say this but here we are. Mom changing your Xbox password is NOT a reason to call 911. Yes, this happened.
