2D action RPG gets a release date. RPG CrossCode will launch physically for PS4 on Switch on August 28. It will be released digitally for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on July 9. Publisher Deck 13 Spotlight and Developer Radical Fish announced that it will be released for $19.99.

Pre-orders for Exclusive and Limited steel books and collector’s editions are available. But they are through Strictly Limited Games. ININ Games also announced that all major retailers will release across North America and Europe on August 28.

CrossCode combines a fast-paced combat system, engaging puzzle mechanics, and 16-bit SNES-style graphics with butter-smooth physics served with a gripping sci-fi story. This retro-inspired 2D action RPG surprised fans and its players. In Crosscode, players can take out two popular genres, can find a good balance between them, and can create a great name.

Players are rewarded with a great variety of equipment they know and love from RPGs and they can also get the puzzles of Zelda-esque dungeons. Players can use fast-paced battle tools to reveal and exploit the enemy’s weaknesses. To fight the enemies they can choose skills and equipment.

Crosscode is already available on PC via Steam. It was first launched for PC, Mac, and Linux in September 2018. It follows a three-year access early period.
