Elden Ring: Unbelievable Early Game Rune Farm

Elden Ring has many ways of earning runes whether it is killing enemies, bosses or finding Golden Runes, however, to make runes quickly, players can dive into certain areas of the game where they can farm large quantities of runes rather easily.

Elden Ring has a ton of farming locations for a variety of areas. FromSoftware has provided players with a varying amount of difficulty in each of the game’s areas, and they all have their potential ‘rune farms’. However, in the early game, killing things is tough. Supremely tough.

It would be remiss for players to feel somewhat stuck, particularly in that early game period where your build may not have fully taken its shape. Well, this is one of the easiest farms in the game and is a nice, quick (though a bit boring) method of gathering quite a large sum of runes. It becomes redundant as soon as you hit levels 30-40ish, but until then, it is amazing.

Starting from the Third Church of Marika Grace site, players should move behind the church. They will find a short stretch of water leading into a small bundle of trees.

As you go through the trees, you will notice the glow of an object; this is what is going to help you cut across all of the troubling parts of the map into the depths of Caelid.

Once players find this gateway, they should activate it, which will send them to Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow.

Once you have made it there. You should go forward, open the door, and touch the lost grace site. This will ensure that if any enemy kills you that you can return nearby, rather than back at the church.

Once that is done, players should then mount Torrent and head down the hill, take the Golden seed from the golden tree since it is on the way, and head for the bridge. Next to the bridge is another lost grace; touch this as well. From there,e you will head across the bridge, and this is the most challenging part of this whole thing.

A Dragon skulks on this bridge, and if you are in the early game, this fight is way beyond you. Luckily, the thing moves rather slowly, and players should be able to slip by unscathed. Beware, the dragon’s tail swipe has a deceptively long reach and will instantly kill you if you have a low vigor stat.

Once you ride past the Dragon, you will continue down the road until there is a split. You will go left, and you will be made aware that you are heading the right way when you see Lenne’s Rise in the distance and a group of tombstones before you.

After this, players can scramble down the side of the cliff nearby (Do not just leap off, the fall may kill you) and then light the lost grace site; you are now at Lenne’s Rise.

Once you are here, you can begin the farm. Charge down the hill next to the lost grace site and stick rather close to the cliff edge.

As you come to a certain point on the hill, a magical boulder will spawn. This boulder can one-shot you, but there is a delay in its arrival. Ensure you are next to the cliff edge, and when it spawns, hold for a split second. When the boulder ‘charges’ dodge out of the way, sending the boulder off the edge of the cliff.

Now the circumstances dictate the next part, and you can normally tell by the sounds what you may get. But if you have done it right, the boulder will have ‘died,’ and in exchange for you moving past a boulder, you get a whopping 1952 runes.

Mid-Late game, this is a rather poultry sum, but the fact that players can quickly access this area merely moments after starting a new game is incredibly useful.

Whether this is an intentional point or a glitch seems uncertain, but regardless, this is a nice and easy far for players to gather up some of those early levels, especially if you’re having trouble with Margit the Fell.

That’s it, you have found one of the best early game farms in Elden Ring.
