There are many spears in Elden Ring, some obviously better than others, but it is now almost universally agreed that the Treespear is the best.
Spears in Elden Ring are some of the most fun and useful weapons present throughout the lands between. FromSoftware has provided players with the most weapon options in arguably any Souls game, and spears are some of the best.
Now, there are many spears with numerous extra passive abilities and all such things, but there are none better than the Treespear. Why, you may ask? Well, even though the weapon already possesses an Ash of War, it can still be buffed with incantations and sorceries, making the weapon able to carry players well into the late game.
Now the question is, where to find this incredible spear?
Starting from the Lost Grace site, Liurnia Highway South. If you do not have this site of grace, from the academy gate, the town site of grace, simply follow the path of bridges heading towards the landmass. You will have to do some parkour, ur and after that it is pretty much a straight line.
Once you have reached the site of grace, the next step is relatively simple…
Whilst heading south, you will be beset by a few menial enemies that will do very little damage even at lower levels. They will be irritating at most.
The most complicated point will be beside the carriage, as there is a troll wandering in front of it. Luckily, the troll is incredibly slow, especially if you are on your horse. Ride directly past the troll and head towards the back of the carriage.
You now have the Treespear. It is a fantastic weapon and one that you will get a lot of use out of.
Depending on your level, that troll may or may not kill you, but it doesn’t matter; you’ve got the Treespear that you wanted.
The Treespear has fantastic stats and is even better once upgraded. It does have high requirements, especially for the early game (Though that can be solved with some great early game farming found here), but once players can utilise this weapon, it has a wide variety of moves and abilities that make it a truly devastating weapon.
