WWE 2K26 cover star and “Best in the World” CM Punk will have the brand new Showcase Mode honouring his WWE Legacy.

WWE 2K26 has confirmed that the brand-new and upcoming Showcase mode will be based on CM Punk. Which makes sense, seeing as he has finally been confirmed as the game’s cover athlete. The reveal for WWE 2K26’s standard cover version was confirmed just yesterday, a day before the thirty-ninth annual Royal Rumble.

Now, they have finished revealing the standard, Ruthless Aggression, Monday Night War, and King of Kings editions, all of which are available to pre-order from January 30, 2026. The standard edition release is March 13, 2026, and the other three editions are a week earlier, March 6, 2026.

Since the release of the edition covers, we have gotten much more WWE 2K26 information and footage, and much more rapidly, including the new CM Punk Showcase mode that pays homage to some of the greatest matches in his illustrious WWE career, including a dream match that never happened.

This mode lets you relive, change, and create history in these matches, and, of course, CM Punk himself will narrate them.

This is not the final list, but the matches confirmed to date. However, we should get more confirmed matches soon enough as we edge closer to the release of WWE 2K26. Moreover, exactly like every other Showcase mode in WWE 2K games, players must complete a match to progress onto the next one, and completing all objectives in each match guarantees rewards.
