WWE 2K26 features two edition covers highlighting the most iconic eras in professional wrestling history.
Over the last couple of days, WWE 2K26 has released two editions of its upcoming game. If you recall, around a week ago, WWE superstar Logan Paul released a video on his YouTube channel that featured the iconic scratch logo for WWE 2K26.
This led fans to believe that the upcoming game would be themed on either the Attitude Era or the Ruthless Aggression Era. Now, all that speculation is put to rest as they revealed the Attitude Era edition on Friday Night’s SmackDown, and now the Monday Night War edition in today’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The way things are going, we should expect the official standard cover star for WWE 2K26 in the next episode on Monday Night RAW, with all but confirming that the current World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, will be revealed as the new cover star. Both editions, including the standard edition, will be available to pre-order on January 30, 2026.
The Attitude Era covers feature the following cover stars:
- ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin
- The Rock
- The Undertaker
- Kurt Angle
- Kane
- Triple H
- Shawn Michaels
- The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D’von)
- Chyna
- Trish Status
- Stephanie McMahon
- Lita
The Monday Night War edition features the following:
WWE
- Stone Cold
- The Rock
- The Undertaker
- Triple H
- Kurt Angle
- Chyna
WCW
- NWO (Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall)
- Goldberg
- Booker T
- Eric Bischoff
The gameplay for WWE 2K26 is said to be released in February, with the full game releasing in March. Moreover, it has been confirmed that WWE 2K26’s Showcase mode will be on CM Punk and his greatest matches, and 2K has recently updated their roster for the upcoming game. We are simply counting down the days until WWE 2K26 and would hope that it is a step up from last year’s 2K25.
