Here's a quick guide on how to complete all puzzles in It Takes Two.
It Takes Two has a lot of puzzles, but most of them are built around one simple idea: both players have to use their abilities together. If you're stuck, don't just keep trying the same thing. Look at what each character can interact with and work out how those two things fit together.
Look at What You Can Interact With
When you reach a puzzle, take a second to look around. Buttons, levers, ropes, rails, switches, and other objects usually give you a pretty good idea of what you're supposed to do.
Don't worry about finding some hidden solution. The game normally puts the things you need fairly close to the puzzle.
Use Both Players' Abilities
A lot of puzzles are designed so that one player can't finish them alone. One person might need to hold a switch while the other moves through an area, for example.
If one of you can interact with something but can't figure out why, the other player probably has something to do with it. Talk to each other and try using both abilities at the same time.

Pay Attention to the Environment
The game often gives you clues without directly telling you what to do. Look at where objects are placed and what they connect to.
If you see a platform that won't move, for example, look for something nearby that could activate it. If one player can reach an area but the other can't, there's probably a way to use that position to help both players progress.
Try Things Without Overthinking Them
Some puzzles look more complicated than they actually are. If you see a button, lever, or other interactive object, try it and see what changes.
You won't usually get punished for experimenting, so there's no need to stand around trying to figure out the entire solution before touching anything.
Talk When You're Stuck
If you've been trying the same thing for a few minutes, stop and compare what each player can see or interact with.
Sometimes one player notices something the other completely missed. A quick conversation can be enough to figure out what you've been overlooking.

Most puzzles in It Takes Two become much easier once both players pay attention to their abilities and work with the objects around them.
FAQ
Q. Can I do the puzzles alone?
A. Nope. You'll need both players since the puzzles are made around Cody and May working together.
Q. What if we're stuck on a puzzle?
A. Look around and see what each of you can interact with. Usually, one player has to do something while the other takes advantage of it.
Q. Do the puzzles get harder later on?
A. Some of them do, but they also introduce new mechanics as you go. Once you get used to what each character can do, they aren't too bad.
