Here's a quick guide on how to survive your first night in Last Breath.
The first night in Last Breath can be tough. You begin with few resources, little protection, and plenty of reasons to stay close to safety once the sun goes down. You might want to go exploring immediately but your first few hours are all about preparation. Get to a safe place, gather your supplies and don’t take any unnecessary chances.
Collect Basic Resources
Gather the basics around your starting area first. Search for wood, stones, food, and other useful materials for crafting. You don't need a big pile right now. Just get enough to feed yourself and build a simple shelter.
You should put food high on your list of priorities. When you’re facing nighttime dangers already, running out can make things a lot worse. Gather anything useful and keep some food for later instead of eating it all at once.

Seek or Construct a Shelter
Once you have some supplies, go to a safe place. Shelter is the place to run to when things get dangerous and to protect your important resources.
If you can build one, keep it simple. There’s no need to waste all your materials making a perfect base the first day. Better a simple shelter that keeps you safe than an impressive one that eats up your supplies.
Prepare Before It Gets Dark
Don’t wait until the sun is almost gone to begin. Make what simple gear you can and make sure you have enough food and handy stuff for the night. Also keep your inventory organized. Don't want to waste time looking for something you need when something goes wrong. As it becomes dark, keep a sensible distance from your shelter. A trip can become a dangerous voyage when caught far from safety.

Don’t Pick Unnecessary Fights
Your first night isn't the time to fight it all you see If you run into a dangerous enemy, ask yourself if the fight is really worth it. Early resources and equipment are scarce and one bad run can leave you struggling. Use the environment to your advantage and fall back when necessary. It’s better to be alive than to pick up a few more resources.
Be Patient and Go Slow
The biggest mistake new players make is trying to do too much too soon. Use the first night to learn about the area, set up your equipment, and understand the threats around you. In the morning, you will be able to grow and explore with more confidence. Make it through that first night and the rest of Last Breath is a lot easier to deal with.
