Game Science delivers a huge patch for fans eager to revisit the Monkey King’s world in Black Myth: Wukong.
If you thought Black Myth: Wukong had already taken 2024 by storm, think again. Game Science’s action RPG has been a dark horse hit this year, inspired by the classic Journey to the West. Now the developers have just announced a brand-new update rolling out on October 13.
The patch is designed to improve performance, fix bugs, and make the game more stable.
Also, keep in mind that if you have installed mods, then it’s advised to uninstall them first and verify your game files, or else those mods could cause crashes or even prevent the game from launching. And if you’re on PS5, the update clocks in at around 93.5 GB. Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you.
Game Science also said the Black Myth: Wukong update will roll out gradually, region by region. If it doesn’t appear to you immediately, there’s no need to panic. Since its August 2024 release, Black Myth: Wukong has been an unexpected success, selling over 20 million copies in its first month alone.
Game Science is already working on Black Myth: Zhong Kui, the successor, which will expand on the same universe. If you’ve been waiting to jump back into Wukong’s world, the time is now.
