The new DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 is titled Phantom Liberty and will release sometime in 2023.

Cyberpunk 2077 suffered a very turbulent release. CD Projekt Red’s reputation was shaken as many fans proclaimed that the game may have been one of the biggest disappointments in the history of gaming. However, once the bugs were ironed out, the game slowly seemed to be on a comeback. The glitches made way for many fans expressing their favourite moments from the game, characters, missions, and more.

Soon, fans began to anticipate when CD Projekt would begin rolling out the piles of promised DLC. Well, now fans will know what the next big piece of DLC will be added to Cyberpunk 2077 for players to sink their teeth into. They dropped a trailer for the brand new ‘Phantom Liberty’ DLC on their official YouTube channel:

The trailer for this new DLC shows off a brand new area of Night City to explore, all the while we hear the voice of V in the background, seeming to recite an oath to the New United States of America. And yes… To the many fans asking, Keanu Reeves is back in his role as Johnny Silverhand as we hear his voice at the end of the trailer saying, “You know taking that oath… Bad Idea.”

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty releases 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia and PC.

In addition to this announcement, Cyberpunk 2077 is also receiving a brand new update called Edgerunner in honour of the anime of the same name, coming to Netflix on September 13th. This update adds a variety of new gear for V to enjoy, all based on the characters found in the soon-to-be-released anime. For a full list of all the new changes and additions, go here.
