The Dying Light 2 scenario contains 350 000 words and 40000 lines of dialogue. This is comparable to the size of “Anna Karenina”

The Polish developers from Techland continue to share the details about their upcoming zombie AAA game, Dying Light 2. Recently, we have already figured out the duration and the trophies of the project. And now, the authors have revealed the size of the scenario. According to information on the official Twitter account, the script contains 40000 lines of dialogue and 350000 words. As the creators say it themselves, the size of the entire story is comparable to the size of the world-famous Anna Karenina, the classic 19th-century Russian piece written by Leo Tolstoy.

350,000 words, 40,000 lines of dialogues – that’s the world we’ve built for you in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Are you ready to explore it?#DyingLight2 #StayHuman pic.twitter.com/A0D0nzObbj

Summarizing all of the foregoing, several questions arise immediately. And the main one is — the quality of the story. The size of the script is both impressive and frightening.  There’s a possibility that the story can be contained by clichés, fillers, etc. All or nothing of the above-described may come true.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is one of the most anticipated and hyped games of the entire 2022. The game is coming out on 4th February 2022 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
