This December, Zatun has released its newest game, Down and Out, for Oculus Rift S and Steam. Down and Out is an open-world VR fighting game with a fresh, new combat system that gives the classic brawler genre a much-needed twist.

The Steam version of Down and Out now supports additional headsets, such as HTC. Down and Out transports the player into the shady dark side of the big city while they live the life of a homeless man, motivated by promises of money and status.

The game offers an immersive experience of survival on the city streets to prove yourself to be the toughest and meanest! Fight, make money, and become the king of the streets! Down and Out’s bold visuals are inspired by both dark realism and catchy comic art created by VR. Play your way through an in-depth and highly interactive recreation of a big city, whether you’re following the story or taking part in side quests, bonus activities, and mini-games. Every corner you turn has a promise to find something new!

Experience a combat system like never before and use VR technology to develop a combat system that is easy to learn but difficult to master. Designed for both newbies and veterans of the fighting genre, Down and Outlaws players battle different enemy types with their fighting styles and an AI that adapts to their techniques, keeping the game fresh and challenging at all times.

Explore the open town of Down and Out brought to life through the unique mix of freestyle combat and exploration. Choose how you want to play while moving freely, or complete quests and reap their rewards in money and reputation! Down and Out will show you a side of urban city life you’ve never seen before. Discover the survivors of the dark side of city life as their struggle – and yours – is told in Down and Out.
