In My Shadow puts you on a touching journey inside the mind of a girl seeking the truth in her past. Her memories of childhood were brought to light as shadows on her house wall, and you must utilize those shadows to solve unique puzzles and assist Bella in her attempt to let go of her past.
There are over fifty puzzles to solve, taking place in four different rooms. Each room provides a unique view into her memories, focusing on the evolving connections in her family. Each has its own set of unique mechanics for solving the puzzles of her past. To proceed, the shadows inside each level must be controlled with items, and unlike any usual puzzle game, there will frequently be more than one outcome to most challenges.
The gameplay relies on a fundamental mechanic called shadows. While playing, players can utilize the shadows in whatever way they choose. Since each puzzle can have more than one answer, the game will continuously test players with multidimensional dynamics that require them to find new ways to manipulate shadows.
In My Shadow offers refreshingly different puzzles and forms in ways you never imagined were possible. Besides a touching story on Bella’s mental anxieties, the game adds a vibrant depiction of Bella’s home that represents the distinct qualities of each member of her family.
