Keanu Reeves’ angelic costume for Aziz Ansari’s film, Good Fortune builds anticipation for Constantine 2.
New set photos from Good Fortune have revealed Keanu Reeves’ angelic costume, building anticipation for Constantine 2. Revealed in an Instagram post, Reeves is seen filming in angel wings on the set of Good Fortune. In a series of images posted by @holycolorfulpig, Reeves is standing on a rooftop hooked to a rig and joined by a stunt double in some photos.
Sporting a tie, a long beige coat, and a pair of angel wings, the photos were captioned “Keanu Reeves shine on the set of ‘Good Fortune’ sporting angel wings, alongside stunt double, in rooftop filing session in Los Angeles.”
For now, very little is known surrounding the plot details of Good Fortune, or the roles that Reeves or any of the other cast will be playing. The project was originally expected to start filming in May 2023 but was delayed by the Hollywood strikes. However, the Good Fortune images appear to confirm that the film has begun shooting in Los Angeles, but there is no confirmation on a release date or any other details.
Following one of many projects that Keanu Reeves is currently in the works for, one anticipated project in particular is Constantine 2, which follows up on the 2005 film, Constantine. In both films, Reeves is seen playing as the exorcist and demonologist lead, John Constantine, which follows the story of a man knowing of the supernatural world and tries to buy his way back into heaven’s good graces while falling for a detective, sporting suppressed supernatural abilities much like Constantine himself if not more powerful, and battling for the threatened fate of the world.
With the conclusion of the first movie in 2005, fans have waited in anticipation for years and the leaked image of Reeves in angel wings seems to have thrown fuel on the fire of fans waiting in anticipation at its release between Constantine 2, Good Fortune, and Ballerina; Reeves is slated to have a quite the busy and exciting year in filming, with tons under his belt such as games and movies fans wait for the Actor’s next coming titles.
