In Lineage II, Discover the Power of the Varkas Werewolf with the Major Project Wolf Update.

NC America, the western publishing arm of NCSOFT, has announced an exciting update for Lineage II fans. Called Project Wolf, this free expansion is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, April 15. It will introduce a variety of new features, including a powerful werewolf transformation class, epic boss battles, challenging PvP and PvE encounters, and new hunting zones.

The main feature of Project Wolf is the introduction of Varkas, a brand-new playable class that enables players to transform into a fierce werewolf. This class comes with upgradable wolf powers, specialized claw weapons, and lightweight armor sets, making it an ideal choice for intense PvP battles and challenging PvE encounters.

Players start as human Varkas and evolve into powerful werewolves with enhanced combat abilities. The Lunatic skill increases physical attacks, skill power, and attack speed while debuffing enemies with Claw Stigma, making them more vulnerable. At night, the Night Hunter buff activates automatically, boosting stats until sunrise for intensified nocturnal battles.

In addition to the new class, Project Wolf features high-stakes raids, boss battles, and hunting zones for continuous action. Notably, the Fafurion’s Underwater Canyon Battle is a 50-player raid against the Water Dragon, Fafurion, offering valuable loot.

The Daily Sanctum of Spirits Boss Fights allows teams of five players to collaborate and defeat one of four different enemy types, each offering unique rewards. The Crumahum Outpost Hunting Zone provides a special daily hunting area where five-player teams can earn bonus XP and valuable items. Additionally, Dark Legion Annihilation is an exciting Sunday PvE event where players must clear waves of monsters before facing the final boss near Giran Castle.

Players excited to explore Project Wolf can start pre-registering today, from March 18 until April 14, to secure exclusive in-game rewards. Those who pre-register will receive a variety of rewards, including cosmetic items, consumables, spellbooks, hero-grade dolls, and accessories, as well as the coveted Wolf Necklace.

Additionally, upon launch, all players will have access to a free package containing valuable items. Lineage II remains a top-tier free-to-play MMORPG, offering an expansive world filled with dark fantasy elements, intense combat, and immersive exploration. Project Wolf is set to be one of the most thrilling updates yet—so gear up, transform, and get ready for battle!
