History can be exciting in many ways. But Macabre Museum decides it should be a little scary.

It’s always fun to peruse a museum and appreciate the many exhibits. But what happens in the Macabre Museum, from Different Monster, when you and a few others end up locked in? After a night at this museum, you might want to completely avoid them altogether. When a door in the establishment opens and you end up in another world, how hopeless is finding a way out?

Choose to play as one of four characters: an archaeologist, influencer, private investigator, or journalist. Whatever choice 1-4 players make, you’re all stuck in a place you can’t get out of. Only by venturing through this labyrinth of living history is there any hope to see the sun outside of the Macabre Museum. Even if you manage to find a door that leads closer to freedom, mind-bending puzzles and deadly traps may stand in your group’s way.

Only by collecting crystals can your group unlock the way out. But these crystals may be guarded by hulking monsters, or, on the other side of a sea of flesh-eating scarabs. The release date for Macabre Museum is not currently known. But interested parties can wishlist the title on Steam now to be informed the moment it’s ready to play.
