Polish game developer Madmind Studio, renowned for pushing the boundaries of psychological and visceral horror, is back with its latest and most disturbing creation yet—Tormentor. Set to launch its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter this April, Tormentor promises an unrelenting descent into depravity, madness, and suffering.
Founded in 2016 by industry veteran Tomasz Dutkiewicz, Madmind Studio has built a reputation for crafting deeply unsettling horror experiences. With over 16 years of game development expertise, the team has consistently delivered titles that challenge conventions and embrace the darkest corners of the human psyche. Tormentor is no exception, offering players a gruesome survival horror/slasher hybrid that redefines fear itself.
A Macabre Experience Like No Other; Set within an abandoned prison, Tormentor places players in the role of a sadistic torturer who operates within the infamous Darknet Network. Tasked with creating nightmarish live-streamed spectacles, players must design elaborate traps, construct twisted torture devices, and execute horrific acts that captivate an unseen audience hungry for chaos. The more extreme the torment, the greater the rewards, as network overlords monitor every move, ensuring that the terror never ceases.

Enter Bloody Mary—A Nightmare in Human Form: Madmind Studio has also unveiled Bloody Mary, a second playable character drenched in the gruesome aesthetic of classic 90s slasher films. Voiced by Saw franchise icon Shawnee Smith (Amanda Young), Bloody Mary is a relentless executioner who revels in inflicting unspeakable agony. However, in the ruthless world of the Darknet Network, even the most merciless killers are never safe. Will she maintain her blood-soaked reign, or will an even greater horror emerge?
