Sanity is hard to come by, especially when the darkness wants in. Is what Patrick Calman sees real, or is he just Paranoid?

When one goes through huge life-altering events, such as losing a loved one, trauma is inevitable. Being Paranoid is just part of Patrick Calman’s life, after the death of his parents the disappearance of his sister. Since then, he’s isolated himself from the world. But a call from a familiar voice motivates him to venture past his apartment door. From developer Madmind Studio comes a first-person horror exploration title.

Calman hasn’t seen or heard from his sister in 10 years. Now, after hearing her on the phone, he takes it upon himself to find her. There’s hope that he can at least reunite with someone in his family. But there’s a long road ahead, and it requires stocking up on weapons.

Fight off creatures that make you question your sanity. Choose whatever method you like to dispatch them: pistols, melee weapons, or even use the environment for a stylized finish. And when you’re not taking on enemies, you’ll have to test your wits with difficult puzzles. Patrick Calman will have to do what he can to hold on to the sanity he has left.

Paranoid is set to release for PC via Steam in October 2023.
