On launch day, Mafia: The Old Country will be playable on PC for anyone with a GeForce Now subscription, along with other platforms.
2K has officially announced that Mafia: The Old Country is releasing on August 8. A new trailer for the Game, along with other facts, including the game’s release date and surprisingly cheap price, were revealed. During 2K’s 2024 Gamescom presentation, the fourth mainline Mafia franchise entry was announced. The publisher had already stated that the game would be released in 2025.
On launch day, the game will be playable on PC for anyone with a GeForce Now subscription, even though 2K had previously said it would launch on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. In addition to the first gameplay trailer, the release date for Mafia: The Old Country was also announced.
Mafia: The Old Country will be available in two versions, Standard and Deluxe, with prices of $49.99 and $59.99, respectively. As a result, you can get Mafia: The Old Country for a lot less than the standard $69.99 for AAA games nowadays. The Lupara Speciale shotgun, Vendetti Speciale pistol, Stiletto Speciale knife, Immortale charm, and Padrino outfit are some of the extra goods that come with the Deluxe Edition.
The Eckhart Speciale limo, along with the Cosimo horse and all of its trappings, will be part of the package deal. In addition, the Deluxe Edition comes with the Gatto Nero Pack, which includes the Velocita charm, Bodeo Nero revolver, Gatto Nero racing suit, and the Carozella Nero racing car. The digital artbook, developer notes, and game music are all included in the deal.

Moreover, the outfit, weapon, charm, and accessories from Tesoro, as well as the Soldato outfit and Scannaturi Speciale, are available for pre-order in Mafia: The Old Country. Upon the game’s release, the so-called Soldato Pack, which includes these items, will likely also be sold separately.
This new ESRB classification places the events of Mafia: The Old Country in 1905, twenty-five years before the events of the original franchise game. As the first Mafia game powered by Unreal Engine 5, the upcoming prequel will mark the return of the mainline after 2016’s Mafia 3.
