This year’s most anticipated game, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 provides gameplay footage, release date? and more.
What a time to be a PlayStation fan, because the most anticipated game on the platform has now provided gameplay and this is one you’ll love. The latest installment by developer Insomniac Games and is the successor to 2018’s Game of the Year contender, Marvel’s Spider-Man. As you may know, today is the event of the PlayStation Showcase, and there are great games that’ll release either this year or next, but one game that caught our eye the most is, of course, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and guess what? There’s finally gameplay.
The gameplay video involves a symbiote Spider-Man attacking the enemies, and if you press the O button, it’ll switch to Miles Morales’s character, in which he is in a cool stealth mission and taking down enemies in stealth mode. Followed by a car chase-like scene, but in this case, you’ll be chasing water vehicles with Miles’ web-sling and eliminating enemies off of their jet-skis by getting to close proximity to them and pressing the triangle button to witness awesome animations. Pretty cool, right?
So, it’s pretty clear that you will not be only playing as your neighborhood hero, Peter Parker. But, seeing as Venom is in the frame, does that mean that players will be getting the taste of the dark side? This certainly takes things up a notch, and we’d have to find out more in the coming months.
But the big question is when exactly is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 coming out. We know that it’ll be this year, but when exactly? It is confirmed that it’ll arrive this fall, and it’ll be on PlayStation 5 – unfortunately, there is still no announcement on the actual date, and it won’t be on PlayStation 4, and we just have to deal with the current information we have. But if you were a better man, you’d probably expect Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to arrive in September – just like the predecessor.
