Marvel’s Wolverine Arrives in 2026

After 4 years, Marvel’s Wolverine comes with a new trailer.

Wolverine has finally been revealed after four long years of speculation, with fans wondering if the game is still in development. And thank God that it is. It was leaked earlier this month that Wolverine would be shown in the next PlayStation’s State of Play event.

The event ran for over 40 minutes, and with all the waiting, the game that everyone had been waiting for was saved for last. It showed the trailer, which also included some gameplay that many of you may love to experience. However, you’d have to wait a year for that to happen, because Wolverine is confirmed to release in the fall of 2026.

This will be a few months after the supposed release of arguably the most anticipated game ever, Grand Theft Auto VI. After the trailer, behind-the-scenes footage of the Wolverine game followed, featuring the story, gameplay, and, of course, some words from the game’s leading protagonist, Liam McIntyre, who provided his voice for the game.

If you head over to PlayStation’s official YouTube channel, the Wolverine trailer already has more than 2 million views. It hasn’t even been six hours, and it has already racked up that many views. This has to be among the records for most views in less than a day, perhaps. This clearly shows that Insomniac Games have been starving the people, and they’ve finally been fed.

Marvel’s Wolverine is a part of the Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise, so it really makes you think about how much connection this game has to the other Spider-Man titles. We loved their latest release, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but now they’ve put all their focus into Wolverine. 2026 is shaping up to be an extremely hot year for gaming. On top of that, we still have great titles to come through in 2025, with the long-awaited Ghost of Yotei releasing just next week.
