The fatalities of Omni-Man in Mortal Kombat 1 remind us of what we saw through Invincible’s thrilling episodes.

Mortal Kombat 1 is very popular, even though it had some issues regarding its Nintendo Switch port and overall bugs on other platforms. As the game gets dedicated patches every day, it is slowly becoming healthier and healthier. Although we could ask why it was rushed if the bugs could be fixed later on, it is just best to keep it to NetherRealm’s schedule.

Talking about NetherRealm, they are doing a great job of adding crossovers of characters from other media. Recently, a Jean-Claude Van Damme crossover was established, and now, NetherRealm is moving to sign a contract with Image Comics. We already knew Invincible’s Omni-Man was coming to the Mortal Kombat 1 roster, but we were not expecting a trailer this early.

According to Ed Boon, the head of NetherRealm, the trailer is not the full showcase of Omni-Man. There are no gameplay videos of the character with its movements and fighting style being explained, so we still have to wait for the upcoming video for Omni-Man. However, from the showcase trailer, we could examine a few noticeable fatalities and moves.

Featured fatalities and moves turn out to be unforgettable moves from the Invincible show that started airing a few years ago. We won’t be explaining the moves in detail as they contain huge spoilers, but if you are interested in the quality and the moves in question, you can watch the trailer through Mortal Kombat 1’s official YouTube channel.

Fans are completely happy with this addition due to NetherRealms’s quality check on the moves and fatalities. They are an interactive homage to the character, and NetherRealm tried their best to complement the character with the same moves from the show. Omni-Man is expected to drop this November, and we said, the gameplay trailer is not out yet, so there are a lot of things to learn from Omni-Man’s coverage on Mortal Kombat 1.
