Switch 2 is the ultimate next-level Nintendo console with sharper graphics, smoother gameplay, and magnetic Joy-Con 2 controllers.

Therefore, the Nintendo Switch 2 has a larger display than the original Switch, precisely 7.9 inches. Although the new screen is of the same thickness as the old one, it has many more pixels that produce very crisp 1080p images.

Games, therefore, appear much more elaborate. The screen can also support games with up to 120 frames per second for more fluid gameplay. The display is also brighter and supports HDR, so the colors pop more, and you get better contrast between light and dark areas.

The new Joy-Con 2 controller snaps on with magnets and stays closely connected. Just press the back release button if you would like to remove them. With weightier SL and SR buttons, they are simpler to use when holding the Joy-Con flat. And the analog sticks? They are also much more forthright. Each Joy-Con can also serve as a mouse for appropriate games.

As far as sound goes, the built-in speakers received an improvement. Whether you’re in handheld or tabletop mode, they sound more organic and clearer. Voice chat with friends is additionally possible via the built-in microphone, which employs noise-cancellation technology to guarantee that your voice is clearly and loudly picked up. The sound is enveloping, almost three-dimensional, even without expensive surround sound equipment.

Since the Switch 2 has a larger, more rugged support, you may set it anywhere. Moreover, the system has USB-C ports on the top and bottom, ideal for hooking up peripherals like a USB-C camera or charging in tabletop mode. Switch 2 has 256GB storage, eight times that of the first Switch. It loads things quicker and offers more space for save files and games.

You can play games in brilliant 4K resolution if they support it, and TV mode also supports HDR once you connect the Switch 2 to the TV via the dock. Even included is a fan in the dock to keep the system running consistently and cool. And don’t be concerned; whether they are physical copies or online downloads, you can still enjoy all of your favorite Nintendo Switch games on the Switch 2.
