Deliver excellent service as the apprentice of the Onsen Master.

Running a hot springs establishment is no easy task. It is increasingly difficult when Yokai are involved. As the Onsen Master’s apprentice, you’ll have to both attend to patrons and figure out just what’s going on. Why has the master disappeared? And what’s with the Yokai going around and messing with everything? From the eccentric minds of Waking Oni Games and published by Whitehorn Games, comes a management game with a substantial mystery to solve.

One does not immediately have to start with gameplay after booting up the game. Players are treated to a visual novel telling the story of Izajima, the island where the story takes place. This is a treat that even two players can experience together.

Players are also free to skip Story Mode and head right for Arcade Mode. There are six levels of difficulty to challenge one’s ability to deliver excellent customer service to patrons. But, if you are looking for more of a challenge than the game can provide, go head-to-head against a friend in a couch co-op mode. See who is the better apprentice to the Onsen Master. All of this is rounded out with a full OST from composer Dorrell Etienne.

Those looking forward to Onsen Master can expect the game to release on September 1st, 2022. It will be available on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, and Xbox Series X|S.
