Get back to the classic feel of Metroidvania with REDSHOT. Show the enemy who’s genuinely someone to be feared.

Are you missing the feel of that classic bullet-time feature? From solo developer Brian Lynch, jump into REDSHOT to save the royal city from certain destruction. This isn’t some simple run-and-gun style game either. It will be necessary for the player to make decisions on the fly. Your sedentary lifestyle has allowed you to steal your focus, and now bullet time is at your disposal.

Off-world invaders have attempted to overtake the royal city of Carcosa. But the royal family, despite you being an off-worlder, has enlisted your help in defeating this enemy. Take the fight straight to them with a host of different weapons. Unleash destruction on the alien invaders with 10 main weapons and a handful of secondaries. In addition to weapons with their advantages and disadvantages, use the bullet-time ability at your disposal. Watch as enemy projectiles sail past and then blast whoever shot in your direction.

Players will also have the chance to have a companion aid in their journey. Additionally, there is an AI in REDSHOT that allows these possible companions the seeming freedom of choice. How you treat them will determine whether any NPCs will aid you on your journey.

REDSHOT is now available on Steam for a 10% discount at $13.49. The game will soon be available on itch.io.
