How are you getting on with Black Ops: Cold War? Are you having fun? Are you not having so much fun? Here’s another question: Are you currently wondering about the next Call of Duty game that will release later this year? Well, unfortunately, there is currently no word on that, not even a rumor. However, rumors are circulating about which developer will be involved with the next Call of Duty game.

According to a famous Call of Duty leaker named Tom Henderson, the next Call of Duty game will be developed by Sledgehammer Games. On the 3rd of January, Tom tweeted what seemed to be a development timeline in which all three developers were mentioned. He explained that this was not a leak but more of a guess based on the franchise’s development schedule history.

Sledgehammer Games began developing the new Call of Duty way back in 2019. What Tom is saying makes sense for the next game. As we all know, the last Call of Duty game that Sledgehammer Games developed was WW2, and it was a pretty good game. If the rumors are true, then we hope that the new COD will be as great or hopefully even better than WW2.
