Star Wars: Jedi Survivor follows Cal Kestis after the events of Jedi Fallen Order, and the newly released trailer is brimming with amazing possibilities.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a smash hit when it was released back in 2019. Respawn Entertainment crafted a soulslike experience that brilliantly merged with the Star Wars ip to create a fantastic blend that nobody truly expected. This, on top of a narrative that had many turns and held your attention throughout, led to Fallen Order being one of the more stellar titles released that year.

Star Wars Celebration was in full swing over the weekend, and many announcements poured from many areas of Star Wars. One of the biggest announcements was Respawn’s reveal of Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order. Many eagle-eyed Star Wars fans peered their way through the trailer, analyzing it and picking apart any details they could garner.

This trailer contains very few details. None of it is gameplay footage, and the vibe of the trailer maintains the concept of being ‘vague’. The game revolved around a character found within a Bacta tank. Of course, immediately, people began pouring their theories on who was within the Bacta tank.

Fans have said it could be many characters, including Omega (A character featured in the animated series The Bad Batch), and some people have also mentioned Starkiller (The protagonist of the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed series of games). Who do you think is in the tank? Leave your ideas in the comments below.

A few more details were discussed in this interview with Jedi Survivor’s game director Stig Asmussen, and while much of it covered a behind-the-scenes look at Jedi Fallen Order, it did also include information that Jedi Survivor will only be available on the next generation utilizing the fast and more powerful technology available.

We do know that the game is slated for a release sometime in 2023. However, with so many games like Starfield and Redfall being delayed this year, it is advised to always anticipate a possible delay. Regardless, Star Wars fans around the world are excited for Star Wars: Jedi Survivor.

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor is slated for release in 2023. Now, here at GamesCreed, we don’t just game in the galaxy far, far away. We cover everything gaming. From the latest news to stellar reviews, GamesCreed has you covered.
